    Sorry, Michael, it took a while for me to see your comment. Holly and I have published three books about NAR, with discussions of The Passion Translation here and there. Our book *Counterfeit Kingdom* (2022) has a whole chapter about this version of the Bible. Our fourth book, *Reckless Christianity,* will be released any day now. Thanks for your interest!

    Hello Doug. On gotquestions.org there is an article about the passion translation and at the end of the article there is a link to a supposed book by you and Holly that is about TPT. Does that book really exist and if it does, where can I get my hands on it? Thanks for all you do Doug!

    Thanks for your interest in the debate, and for mentioning several significant Christian existentialists in connection with themes that came up. I’ve always liked Marcel in particular.

    Prof. Geivett,
    I recently watched the debate you had in Mexico with Rabbi Wolpe and Dr. Craig. I was surprised that someone would put forward existentialist considerations, not that I’m complaining. Existentialism is a keen interest of my studies (particularly Kierkegaard, Gabriel Marcel, and a bit of Tillich).

    What you were discussing reminded me of G.E. Moore’s discussion on beauty and having to choose between a world of beauty and a world of ugliness. He concludes, “We shall have to include in our ultimate end something beyond the limits of human existence.”

    BTW, I got my answer on the Ontological Argument from Bill Craig at a recent event here in Turlock CA.

    The reason that you can’t use the same argument to argue for an all powerful, completely EVIL God is because the quality of evil is not great, and in some sense, is not a created thing but its absence.

    So an optimally great God must exist necessarily in all possible worlds, and must be good. Do I have the argument right now?

    hi i have been chatting with this guy about Christianity and God and he has asked many questions that i have been able to answer but he recently asked one that reminded me of the apologetics conference that you talked at at cross roads bible church. i remembered that you talked about “solving the problem of evil” the question(s) are “Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” (Epicurus). I am pretty sure you mentioned something about this in the lecture and i was wondering what is a nice, simple to understand, way to answer that… or if there is a simple way to answer it.
